Admission Criteria
OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
To enroll in the OTHM Level 6 Diploma, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Academic Qualifications
Applicants should hold a relevant NQF/QCF/RQF certificate or diploma, or an equivalent recognized qualification in Occupational Health & Safety. Acceptable qualifications include, but are not limited to:
British Safety Council Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
British Safety Council International Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
NCFE IOSH Level 3 Certificate in Safety and Health for Business
NCRQ Level 6 Certificate in Applied Health and Safety
NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
These qualifications must cover core Occupational Health & Safety concepts, such as:
Risk management principles
Workplace safety and health
Occupational hygiene & psychology
Health & safety legislation and systems
Science, technology, and literacy
2. Mature Learners
Applicants aged 21 or older with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the field may also be considered for admission.
3. Age Requirement
All learners must be 18 years or older at the start of the course.
4. English Language Requirement
If English is not your first language, you will be required to provide proof of English proficiency.
